What Makes Us Unique

Our doctors are well-trained, detail-oriented, and always striving to provide our patients with the best treatments available anywhere, yet are extremely down-to-earth. Feel free to call our doctors “Dan” and “Jason” rather than “Dr. Fishel” and “Dr. Shoe”!

Our doctors live in Hanover and York and are readily available in case of an emergency. If there is a problem, there is always a doctor available to solve it!

We are the first office in York County to offer 3D imaging and diagnosis for orthodontics. This allows us to tailor and customize your treatment options even further.

We understand that time is important and limited. We strive to accommodate school and work schedules by providing hours that are flexible, with evening and Saturday appointments available throughout the year.

Our offices are designed to be relaxing and feel like home. We want our patients to be comfortable in very welcoming, state-of-the-art facilities. Our treatment rooms are designed with digital technology, computers, and flat-screen TVs.

We strive to be as paperless and eco-friendly as possible in an effort to operate with the smallest possible carbon footprint. The added benefit of our paperless effort is providing your other dentists (and only your dentists) with highly secure, 24-hour access to images/records taken at our office, thereby reducing redundancy of X-rays and expenses.

Dr. Fishel completed a unique four-year combined residency in periodontics and orthodontics at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine after his dental school training. It is the only residency of its kind in the United States. Training in periodontics gives Dr. Fishel the unique background to predict the positive or negative implications of orthodontic tooth movement on future gum health.

Dr. Fishel is a speaker and educator for the Complete Clinical Orthodontics (CCO) group at Dentsply GAC, one of the worlds leading companies in research, manufacturing, and education in orthodontics. The CCO group is looking to provide more than just straight teeth. The goal is to enhance the training of orthodontists to provide a good bite and optimal long-term oral health in the most efficient means possible by incorporating new technology and proven concepts from all orthodontic schools of thought.
